I am saddened by reluctance to help.

I am saddened by fueling of fires.
I am saddened by the presence of liars.
I am saddened by laughing in events of torture.
I am saddened by fear in a cheerful crowd.
I am saddened by fights picked purely for fight.
I am saddened by those standing false in light.
I am saddened by misread intention.
I am saddened by our titles of section.
I am saddened by disgust in the act of kindness.
I am saddened by love causing blindness.
I am saddened by those who are now adult.
I am saddened by having to act adult.
I am saddened by their wanting to be young.
I am saddened by my wanting to stay young.
So you see.

Whenever I have an idea for a line or theme that can be used for a poem I write it down in a notebook. The poems found here are organized bodies that have been pieced together using those fragments. Most of the writing I do is created from smaller ideas that seem to fit together.
