As we approach one another my anticipation soars
A smile jumps from my mouth to yours
My lips crave even your slightest attention
For they know of a bliss I dare not mention
Fearing to lose that which is growing
As arms embrace and wrap around
A contentness comes with warmth abound
For I wish my eyes to remain in her stare
And to never be broken from such soothing glare
Fearing to lose that which is growing
Now all else seems so very cold
Compared to the one I now hold
It requires not a man of all knowing
To see between us this special growing
